Welcome to the board. You might want to make this inquiry on another board where many people with lumbar issues read and post -- it is called the "Back Problems" board -- just scroll up to the "B"s and you'll find us.
What issues do you have and at which level? Ablation is appropriate for some issues and can provide relief from a few weeks to a year or even longer in about 80% of patients who try it.
I've had several lumbar surgeries and many injections and nerve blocks, but never this procedure, but I'm pretty sure there are some people on the back board who have had it.
