The fact that you say it's a lump and that it's associated with eating..... I'd think that there could be a chance that you might have a salivary stone. Reason being, I had one removed on Friday (stitches under my tongue, YAY!), except that it was in a gland under my tongue. But whenever I'd eat, it would swell up and I'd have this huge bump like I was growing a second head or something, then I'd press on it and it would release the pressure of all the saliva that was backed up. There are tiny salivary glands all over the place in your mouth....... I'm no professional (I'm a college freshman majoring in instrumental music education, hahaha), but I just figured I'd throw that little idea out to you because there's always a chance that it could be a salivary stone!
