Burning under denture

I have a top and bottom denture. Do any of you with a top denture every have a sore throat (behind palate) and it also burns under the denture? I also have acid reflux and my ENT thinks this is causing the burning under the denture and the sore throat, but I beginning to wonder if it could be sinus drainage or something else since I don't have heartburn anymore on Aciphex.
Just the sore throat and burning under the denture.

Thanks for any responses.

My advice is to see a Dentist and be sure the Dentures fit exactly right.

I have gums that swell and receed at times due to allergies so once in awhile..when the gums receed a lot.. I will get little buring areas..friction burns basically..under the lower ones.

I got to mention that once I got a toothache..monster sudden toothache/jaw ache.. except of course I have no teeth! Went to a Dr and he said it was from a tiny unnoticed scratch under the dentures that had gotten food in the unnoticable scratch and that had caused a jaw infection. That got worse before it got better and I had pus sores visable on my jaw bones and throat.. that situation hurt a lot. Dr told me he would give me the antibiotics but "next time" I should go to a Dentist and get those teeth re-fitted!
