| Re: Can an infected third molar cause mandibular nodes swelling?
Cheese Man,
From your description, it sounds like you have an infection brewing.
The time to act is now or asap before the infection travels to other parts of your body. You'll need to be on an antibiotic and then have the extraction done.
After you take the antibiotic, you'll feel better, but, make sure you still have the procedure done.
I've seen patients that have ended up in the hospital on an Antibiotic IV because of a bad dental infection that they left go for too long.
Don't wait! If needed: Go to the emergency room and get started on antibiotics.
