Geographic Tongue
Anyone else here with geographic tongue? I was told about 6 months ago that I have it and it bothers me immensely. My tongue burns and I hate the way it looks.

I was wondering if anyone has any "treatments" to calm it down. Also, from what I have read, the patches are supposed to move around the tongue. Mine just resurface in the same place. They go away and then a couple of weeks later come back for a week. It is a terrible cycle.

Any ideas?

My 6 yr old son has geographic tongue. It doesn't bother him at all (it bothers me more!) Pizza sauce, citrus fruit & other acidic foods seem to make it worse...but try telling a 6 yr old not to eat pizza!!
