| Do I need a Root Canal?
I know, silly question, and at this point, I am most likely looking at a visit to the dentist. The problem started yesterday at lunch, a dull pain in my back tooth. I've had these before, adn they fade away quickly, but this one stayed. I noticed that the pain was actually coming from my gum away in the back when i would press on the gum.
However, the aching was relieved actually by crunching some small ice. Eating or biting with the teeth does not cause pain, or even when I press on the tooth.
I looked in the mirror, and noticed a small white area located on the gum next to the tooth. Could my gum be infected? I'm trying to get an idea of what Im facing here.
