hello, i have been wearing my inisalign for a month and the best analagy for you to think of is the aligner being a mouth guard. Everytime u eat u take it off like how u would take a mouth guard off, but the aligner is much tighter on your teeth than a mouth guard. ure teeth are sensitive at the first few days of the "new" aligner as your teeth are shifting. its not that painful, its bearable pain that u feel when you take the aligners off. i found its better to eat hard things about 2 days after you have put the new aligner on, since your teeth are feeling normal.
