| Gum Disease!
Over two months ago, I noticed that my gums were receding, badly. I went to the dentist, got some kind of special mouthwash, and for a couple weeks everything was great. But it came back, and I started using what was left of the mouthwash, and again, all was good. Now, again, as of just a few days ago, I have gotten it back on one tooth, and this is getting terrible -- it's really getting VERY close down to the root, though the tooth seems as stable as ever, it's getting very painful and very annoying. I shouldn't be getting this since I floss twice a day, brush atleast twice a day as well. My dentist also told me that it was because of how my teeth came in that it happens to me. Is there a certain extremety that you can let your gums go down and you won't be able to get skin grafts anymore? If the cause of the problem is where my teeth came in, does that mean I should get braces or something to avoid this? Please help...this is kind of an emergency.
