Red face Do I have any other choice?

I had a tooth extracted back in August that had a hook on the root and thought the dentist was going to break my jaw pulling it.After having another dentist check my jawbone,he says it was cracked, now I have another tooth that cannot be saved so I have to have it pulled also.He says the roots are very long and he'd rather have me go to a oral surgeon, which is very expensive,I don't have insurance and simply cannot afford this.I don't want to go through what I did before, but like I said I don't have the money to go to a oral surgeon either. Is this the only choice I have or could there be another dentist that could extract this tooth without it being so much of a problem because of the long roots? Hope this makes sense. Thanks for any advice.

I am sure there is another general dentist out there who would extract it for you, but an oral surgeon is the most experienced person to handle the job. I think it is a decision you might have to make on your own. Did you ask the oral surgeon if they would take payments? Hope this helps.
