| 1 week with dentures !
well for those of you who have seen my posts you know i just got full dentures recently. well its been 7 complete days and nights and i think everything is going great ! i ate a hamburger tonight =) wow was it good =) i managed ham last night at the local restaurant in town <i ate a total of 3 plates> lol i have been so starved for so long and the past few days i am putting on weight i can tell. for anyone who may need dentures and have doubts, to you i say .... go for it ! i am so thankful to be talking with confidence again and eating good food again. the speech problem is gone, it just comes naturally it seems after awhile, your tongue doesnt feel so crowded anymore =)
however i have these dang bone shards and they are a pain ! i looked carefully at the sore areas and felt them, i am sure its bone shards and not caused from my denture thankfully.
anyway just wanted to update you guys on my progress and would like to thank everyone on this board, your posts have been a lifesaver, lotsa great info here =)
