Wisdom Teeth & extra skin. - Dental Health Message Board

I am fed up,
Ive had so many problems with my wisdom teeth now I am ready to rip the out myself!
When i was 17 and first went to the dentist about them, I wanted them removed years on still pain.
I seem to get problems with the skin around them,, When they came through they left extra pieces of skin on the side of my mouth, small flaps. I catch the all the time, Bite them. Infection gets underneath it and causes me agony!
does anyone know of any medicated mouth washes that might help? DO I have a case against the dentist, She assured me nothing would come of these pieces of skin. I am just so fed up. When wouldnt they remove them when I asked?

Might try some Listerine. The new orange flavor is best in my opinion. Maybe they didn't remove them because they didn't have to. I know a few people who still have theirs. Never had any problems with them.

Maybe you can plead your case again and get them removed.

I wish it was that simple, Now I am older It would probably cost me a years wages to get them removed, NHS
