For the past year I have had this really strong metallic taste in my mouth. At first I tried to ignore it but it just would'nt go away. Finally, I went to the doctor and was told that the most likely cause was my teeth. In fact, I had several doctors suggest this now.
I do have a filling in one of my molars and when I stick the tip of my tongue to it, it's just like sticking your tongue on a low-voltage battery. I have another molar (also with filling) that feels the same way.
A few other things I've noticed is that my left side (kidney area) feels kind of sore (mildly so) at times and then it will go away after a few days. Sometimes I get very mild pressure-type headaches on the same side as my molar with the filling (left side).
I've called a number of dentists but they all want the money up-front, no medicaid and they want LOTS of money or it's too bad for you. I'm beginning to think that the common belief is that if your poor you don't deserve treatment of any kind and I just don't have anymore options at this point.
I guess my main question is this: does this sound filling-related and does anyone else here have problems like the ones I've described as a result of their fillings?.
Thank's and have a great day
