Procera crowns -- recommended?

Has anyone ever had one of those procera crowns made with new computer technology? Are they any good? Some claim they are as strong as gold crowns but do they, also like gold crowns, not wear down the opposing teeth as much as the traditional porcelain ones? Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Procera crowns -- recommended?

It depends on what you're talking about, are you referring to cerec crowns or procera crowns. There is a difference between the two, the cereic are made right in the office and the procera are sent to the lab. The cerec crowns are not good at all but the procera are great. No they do not wear down the opposing teeth and they are very durable but nothing is as durable as a gold crown or lasts longer.

Oh, I didn't know there's a difference. Haha. So which one's which?
