Apicoectomy - Dental Health Message Board

I've had two apicoectomies on front top teeth. The most recent was about a year ago. I am now feeling pressure again above the tooth and sometimes a burning feeling in the actual tooth. I recently had it x-rayed at the follow-up with my endodontist and the bone has been filling in like expected.

Has anyone had any experience with an apico failing and the symptoms? Can it be starting to flair up and not show on the x-rays? It looks like I may need 2 more done on the other front teeth and would hate to have to have this one repeated.

I had one done on a first molar. After one year, the tooth started to have pain when I was under ortho treatment. It was extracted. I'd rather to remove the tooth.
