Tongue - Dental Health Message Board

I have like a lump on my tongue, but its not on the surface its like my tongue is risen a little bit, it doesnt hurt but i am wondering if anyone knows what it may sound like or has had something like it, thanks!

Hi, is it just one lump, or more? I have something called geographical tongue disease, which is completely harmless, and just means that occassionally these lumps appear on the top of my tongue, and shift around and stuff like that. It doesn't hurt at all. Maybe your's is something similiar. If you are really concerned about it though, you should go and see a doctor.

It looks to be just one, it isnt hard like anything is in it, and it doesnt hurt, im not sure, ive been to the doctors a bunch of times but never mentioned it, but they never noticed it when looking into my mouth at my throat so i dont htink it is too bad, im going to schedule a dentist appointment i think they would know better. Thanks for the response!
