...BUT.... I figured you guys could help me out.

My top two wisdom teeth are distally impacted (****** it if you're unsure about what i'm talking about) and i'm wondering if I could get invisalign without having it removed. I'm only 17 so they haven't even grown out fully yet (50% of them is out of the soft tissue), so what do you think the dentist or ortho would recommend?

I would think that invisaline wouldnt work well moving wisdom teeth as they really can't be used to move back teeth much at all. They are mainly for minor corrections. I would think that most dentists would say to have them out. You are at the age where people start having them out and it is much easier the younger you are. The biggest thing is making sure that your wisdom teeth don't cause other teeth to shift. But, you are right, this question is best answered by your dentist as the amount of room in your mouth, position of your other teeth, and the exact angle of your wisdom teeth will all play a factor!
