i have a serious underbite. I had a braces for 2 years (when i was 14-16) that corrected 60% of the problem but as soon as that was taken out the underbite grew back in. Then earlier this year, my lower wisdom tooth surfaced. Which is getting removed tomorow. Now that i'm 17.5 (the age when growth stop for girls) the doctor says that its not possible to fix it without operating my lower jaw. I really dont want to go thru this operation. I dont feel any pain in my lower jaw. and nobody except the dentist cares that my teeth looks the way it is... so my question is

what is the consequence for leaving my underbite untreated?
