I posted on the arthritis board about my past 3 mornings with neck/shoulder/arm stiffness and pain when I wake up in the morning. I am awaiting getting a root canal done on one of my teeth. They just had me on amoxicillin to get rid of the infection. Could this tooth be causing my joint pain and stiffness?? Its mostly in my neck area when I wake up. Once I start moving around and take ibuprofen, it goes away. Help!
Re: Bad tooth related to joint pain and stiffness??
Just my opinion...Sounds like you need your root canal asap. I had similar symptoms and then my neck swelled up so my oral surgeon even thought it might be meningitis but wrong again...it was a failed root canal. The achy joints and bones have improved after one week of antibios. An abscessed tooth can do wonders.
Take good care...
