Skin grafting can be a lttle painful for a few days but for the most part you will be fine,You are numb throuhout the procedure so you wont feel a thing and the roof of your mouth will feel as if you had a pizza burn for a few days. I have a question for you though,did he tell you this before you did the RCT and give you the details that if you had the RCT and not the skin graft that the tooth would not last to long anyway. He should have told you this.
