Is it possible for wisdom teeth to grow back

I got my wisdom teeth removed about 2 years ago and it feels like one of them is growing back in. I got them removed because they were horizontally impacted I dunno if that makes a difference

No. They will not grow back.

If it is on the top, maybe what you are feeling is the maxillary tuberosity which is part of the maxilla in the back that protrudes a bit.

If its on the bottom, where you find most horizontal impactions perhaps its a bone spur or something of that nature. Wouldn't hurt to mention it to the dentist.

Re: Is it possible for wisdom teeth to grow back

Very occasionally you can have additional or supernumary "wisdom teeth" which can take some time to appear following the original extractions (more common at the top than the bottom). These would however probably have been visible on an all round x-ray in the first place - depends which x-rays were taken for the original ones. Having said this, the previous reply is more likely!
