This will be my first time writing to a message board, so please bare with me. I had two teeth removed on Friday...3 days ago...my question is this, should I still be having some light bleeding?

Light bleeding is OK. It is when there is no bleeding that you have a greater risk of a dry socket. Light bleeding helps flush out contaminents.

I am so worried about all of this and realize that it could have an impact on recovery. My biggest fear is getting a dry socket...which I have had before. I waited until Sunday to try and smoke, but only took about 3 drags. How long does it take before something like that becomes apparent?

If you had a dry socket, you would probably know it. It can occur until the socket heals properly. Smoking will definitely increase the risk because of the smoke particles getting in the socket. A friend of mine who was a cigarette addict found that, if he roll up a piece of gauze, placed it over the socket and gently bit down on it while smoking, then rinsed his mouth out when he was finished, the socket remained much cleaner.

I am also having very soar throat pain and the pian killers I have been taking are ripping my stomache apart.

You have to take them with food like a sandwich or milk.

I have an appointment with my OS tomorrow, but I am so anxious it is driving me nuts!! It has been years that I have seen a dentist and I now have found out that I need to have a full cleaning...below the gum lines to prevent some sort of disease. Can someone tell me if this is a painful procedure??

The dentist should numb your mouth before cleaning so it's not painful. BUT, your gums will be a bit sore and tender for a couple days afterward. Be sure to have some soft food available.
