Hi, Crrish. I tried to respond to your post last night, but I kept a screen come up, saying I was using the wrong username/password. This sometimes happens on this board, I've noticed. My thought was this: your teeth were traumatized when they were broken...then traumatized when they were pulled (I'm talking about the surrounding areas of the tooth). So, it may take you longer to heal, than if you had just had two relatively healthy teeth pulled. I would take Motrins till the pain/swelling eases up: 600 to 800 mg. I take 800 mg.; it was a bit tough on my stomach, till I got used to it, but I handle them fine now. Take 3-4 times a day, on a set schedule, and soon you should start feeling some relief. The Motrins will help with the inflamation/swelling/pain...but you might need to take for 2-3 days before you really start to notice how they're helping: (we get our doctor to write us prescriptions for them: we find they're cheaper to buy that way). Just stay in contact with your dentist, if something more worriesome starts to happen....Good luck to you: I think in another week you'll start to feel better...Debbie
