my dentist pulled out a baby tooth and there was no adult tooth to replace it. So, when I got my braces, he put a spring in there to push a tooth in that space and when it moves in place he's gonna put in a fake tooth.
So, he's gonna drill the tooth in there right? and i'm gonna have a metal screw up in my gums and upper jaw for the rest of my life? I don't like that idea...what if my body rejects the screw and it starts messing up my gums? are there any risks at all about getting this? i'm not talking about during the procedure (it can't be as bad as getting a tooth pulled, right?

)...i mean like is there a chance of anything bad happening to me while the screw is in there?
thanks.
