Red face MRI & dental work?
Hi..I will be having a MRI on Weds nite...I just realized I have a post inside my front tooth...Will this interfere with the MRI?
I will tell them anyway. I did call my dentist, & he said It "probably" wont make a difference...didnt sound too convincing.. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/redface.gif
I know you are supposed to tell them if you have any metal in your body.
Has anyone been through this procedure?

Well, the MRI was a peice of cake..yeh! glad its over..it only took 20 minutes & I was very claustraphobic.. The metal post in my tooth was of no concern. Same with the clips on my fallopian tubes.
She did mention that my tatoo's might seem to "burn"..hhhmmmm, & if they did I was to buzz her & she would stop the machine. But no problems! (guess its the metal in the dye's)?
