Angry 3 Wisdom teeth pulled and a RCT

I'm 27 years old and on Friday I had 3 wisdom tooth pulled and a RCT. On my right side I had two wisdom teeth pulled and on the left side I had one wisdom tooth pulled and a RCT. But my bottom right side where my wisdom was pulled still hurts. Today is Thursday. I'm currently on Amoxicillin 500mg...1 capsule 3x a day. Do you think it could be a dry socket? Plus, I feel some type of aching and irritation feeling on the bottom row of my teeth.

Hi there. I had my wisdom teeth out back in March- three of them- two uppers and a lower left. The uppers healed quickly b/c they were coming in almost straight, but the lower one was a little more involved and took longer to heal. At the stage you are in now, I was still in pain. I think it's perfectly normal. You hear stories about how healing should be over in a few days but it's really not like that for everyone. My dentist told me it takes several months for your mouth to really get back to normal- BUT- the pain should subside after 2-3 weeks. My pain was nagging but I did not have a dry socket- even thought I thought I did several times. If you had one, you would be in pain so terrible you wouldn't be able to perform any normal activities- that's what I have heard. I know what you are going through- it's not fun- but hang in there. Tt gets better but it takes time- at least you only have to go through it once, right?

Thanks. In my case I had two pulled at the bottom...one right, one left. But, my left doesn't hurt anymore because I guess I gave it time to heal. My dentist told me not to chew on my left side because he is not finish with my root canal. So, I have no choice but to chew on my right side. I'm so sick of the pain that I just want to have soup for now on until it heals.
