Post Extraction hole

Hello, I had 2 teeth out over 2 weeks ago. If I place my tongue around by the hole on the left one, I don't taste anything but It feels raw. I don't know how to explan it.. I don't taste the sourness but only my on my tongue. I have no bad taste.
Is it still cuz it's still healing?
Even if I'm not doing anything, I can feel it on my side of my tongue..
Should I keep rinsing with salt water?
Thanks.

Emi--

When I had my wisdom teeth removed, I did the salt water rinse for a while, and it seemed like they would never heal. I found a mouthwash at Whole Foods, made by J/A/S/O/N cosmetics that had calendula and some other botanicals in it. It said it would speed healing and cut down on swelling/irritation. It worked like a charm, and now I return to it whenever I have dental work done that involves my gums; they get irritated by just about everything. It may just take a while for your tooth to heal. I don't think there'd be an infection if it's not swollen, hot, painful, or oozing anything.

Thank you so much for the reply!
I'll try to rinse my mouth more.
