| | Existance of a 'Super' Mouthwash?
I have a quick question that maybe someone here can answer.
Some time ago, a dental hygenist friend of mine talked about an advanced 'super' mouthwash, still in a concept stage, that would work well enough that it made brushing and regular cleanings unneccessary. According to my friend, apparently due to the implications that this would present for the dental industry as a whole, the further development of this product was struck down by industry interests.
I know this sounds almost absurd, but is there any truth to this information? It doesn't seem out of the reach of our technology to develop something like this, though (a mouthwash that quickly dissolves plaque, etc).
