 To dochardee
I had a root canal done tooth #29 on Dec.2000 and it never really felt right with all kinds of sensations then it started getting heat sensitive so my dentist did a retreat on Sept.2001 and it never got any better and strted to ache so he sent me to and endodontist on Nov.2001 and she did a retreat and it did not change that much and kinds swelled some and so she cleaned it out 2 more two more times in the folowing months. I forgot to mention the tooth has calcified tip and they can not get all the way though it. Endodontist finished up root canal on Feb.2002 and said make an appointment for and apico and so went in for that and then she decides because of the tooth being #29 it is too risky to do an apico and says take more anibotics and see if that helps and if not then have an intentioal replantation or extract. It did feel some what better after antibotic's "6th round of anti" the big ache went to small ache but now it is starting to come back. The tooth itself does not hurt but under the tooth in gum, bone area is where it aches and across my jaw at times. Anyway I was just wondering what are your thoughs on this? Give up and pull it or keep taking antibotics for ever????? Thanks.....
