Question Losing teeth too early?
(I posted this on the childrens health as well....)
My daughter is 4 1/2--will be 5 in December. She is starting to lose her bottom baby teeth. My oldest daughter didn't even get a loose tooth until she was almost 6 years old. So, I am worried. Is this normal? Or does she have an underlying dental problem?

You probably have absolutely nothing to worry about. I work in this field. All children are different. There is no specific age for shedding or cutting of teeth, only a general set of standards. My daughter is only 10 and has no baby teeth left! She has teeth that most kids wouldn't have until age twelve. Go to your dentist if you must have peace of mind. But it is probably of no concern. One child has nothing to do with the other. Worry would be if the teeth never got loose. At least you know she has adult teeth trying to push those guys out!
