hi...i got my braces off a month ago. My teeth look great! but my gums are swollen. Ill live....but how do u fix it?

Sounds like gingivitis. It tends to be a lot worse with braces because it's so hard to clean around the brackets. Now that your braces are off keep up the brushing AND FLOSS daily. Don't worry if your gums bleed, that should go away in a week or so. If the swelling doesn't go away I would see your dentist. Maybe a good mouthwash would help.

You could also try rinsing your mouth out with a mild solution of salt water, in addition to brushing. Baking soda or table salt in warm water are both good, at least from my experience.
