I am going through orthdontic procedures to correct an overbite problem. I have been wearing braces for 1 year now. Almost immediately when the braces were put on, I have noticed that my eye teeth are considerably much longer than the rest of my teeth. I am very concerned about this. My question is: Can teeth be pushed back into the gums where they were before, or is it too late and the rest of the teeth have to come down to meet with the now longer eye teeth?
