wisdom teeth and dizzies - Dental Health Message Board

Hey everyone. Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this. The past year I have been to many specialists concerning a woozy feeling I have had (ie.ENT)...all found nothing...I just ( 2 days ago )had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out and the dentist told me that one of them had very long roots into my sinus...could this of been the problem all along?

Also, part of my lip and chin are still frozen. How long should I wait before I become alarmed?

Yes, the wisdom tooth could definitely have been the problem. About five years ago, I was dizzy all the time and had bad headaches. I spent thousands of dollars at nuerologists and other specialists just for them to tell me there was nothing wrong. I than got my top wisdom tooth pulled and have felt great ever since. The root was in my sinus'. Good luck!!

Wow. Thanks for the reply. How long before you started to feel better? I'm really encouraged but I don't want to get my hopes up...I'm going through the same thing as u with the neuro's and ENt's as you did!

I got imediate relief as soon as my tooth was pulled!!!

What's even more weird.....I've been having much the same "woozies" for months....foggy head....slightly dizzy....pressure in my sinuses....etc. Had two upper molar cavities filled this morning and this afternoon I feel 100% better. I can't wait to see if this is just a fluke and I will feel horrible again tomorrow or if all of this had something to do with these two cavities!
