The other morning i woke up and my mouth was sore. I asked my husband to look and see if he could see anything...and he said he thought i had a cold sore. Later in the day it seemed to feel worse so I looked myself with a flashlight. I seem to have a bunch of small white spots on my lower left gumline. Plus, I have a really big one that is puffy back where my wisdom tooth was before it was pulled out. They are very tender, to touch or when i eat...well pretty much all the time... any ideas?
might be thrush - do an online search and you'll find alot of info about it.
its not a big deal. I had it after surgery, and had a really bad case too. it was miserable. but if you go ahead and go to the doc they should be able to prescribe you a swish and swallow medicine and it will be cleared up in a few days.
can you give a little more detail? do the white spots rub off if you touch them?
actually, yea, i forgot to mention that. when i was looking at them this morning, i tried to touch them to see if they were puffy and they rubbed off. not sure what that was all about. thanks for the info!
