Question help finding a good dentist in SF

I have been visiting my prosthodontist since January to have a tooth to be extracted and also to get a new partial denture. But every time I went to her office, she just did X-Ray, and several exams. She also keeps asking me to have a root canal for the tooth that I want to be extracted. I couldnít afford a root canal also I donít think itís a good idea because the hole is too big. She asked me to have a cleaning for the next appointment, instead of extracting the tooth that have already given me a lot of pain. I chose her, because I thought she could give me the best denture since I need a new partial denture. Can a regular dentist do a denture treatment? I need an eleven teeth partial denture for my upper. The one that Iím wearing now has ten teeth and itís getting loose. Does anyone know a good dentist who can do denture in SF? How much the treatment will cost?
