Exclamation tooth-head ache

please if anyone can give me some advice i really would appreciate.Well a year ago i had a root canal retreatment and i was in so much pain and after my crown was put on it kind of started to give me pain in the right side of my head, above my right eye,my jaw and my head.My endo said the root was dead and everything looks healhty.I moved from Minnesota to DC 2 weeks ago and don't have health coverage.I have to take advil everyday to stop the pain.I wanna go see a dentist as soon as i get my coverage and see what's wrong. Can i have the crown removed and the dead tooth pulled?I just want this pain to stop. Please any adivce is welcome.

I had a crown removed and the tooth pulled. So, yes, it can be done. My pain was definitely in the tooth though. Pulling it did relieve the pain. Your headache, jaw pain etc. could be indicative of something else such as TMJD. Sometimes a new crown can throw the bite off and cause these symptoms too. Do you clench or grind your teeth-if so a nightguard could help.
