brian,,There are only two or three kinds of head gear (I THINK). Orthodontists try to stay away from doing headgear as much as possiable and the same for sugary. How old is your son?? My son's ortho said that the older they get the harder it is to correct and then surgary could be a must. My son is only ten so headgear is what we are probably going to try. This condition is very complex and hard to understand. And there isn't much on the net about it either. I did find that [url="http://www.ada.com"]www.ada.com[/url] does have some info on it. We go back to ortho next week and i will let you know what he says at this appt. i would get a second opinion on the surgary thou.
