Hi all!
Well i'm now in my fourth week of college and i've recently noticed that my top/right wisdom tooth has become sensitive to hot/cold again. Earlier in the year i went to the dentist and he told me I had a cavity forming in this tooth. At first he said he should just pull all 4 wisdom teeth since I didn't need them anyway......I told him that that wasn't going to fly and so he did his best to cram his entire hand in my mouth to fill the cavity.
A while later I started noticing that randomly (not all the time) very hot foods or very cold foods would cause a sharp but very short pain on the very front edge of the same wisdom tooth (it actually feels like the pain is between the wisdom tooth and the next tooth up). The pain wasn't very bad and wasn't very common and after a while even went away. Well i've recently started experiencing the pain again and i'm a little worried about it. I know ideally I would just go see a dentist about it but I'm at school and am already swamped with all my classes/homework/work and I wouldn't know what dentist to go to to begin with. I already have a checkup with my regular dentist back home scheduled during thanksgiving break. Is this too long to wait? What could be wrong with my tooth? Is it maybe just a normal sensitivity?
