Question Large taste buds?
Does anyone have what looks like large taste buds on the back of their tongue? Is this normal?? Also, the other day I was looking at the inside of my mouth and on the side of my mouth, i saw 2 red dots that wouldn't come off. Maybe it had been bleeding, I don't know. It was just 2 red dots. Any ideas as to what that may be?

Those large taste buds in the back of the tongue are called circumvallate papullae (think I spelled that right). Anyway, they're totally normal, everyone's got 'em.

As for the red dots, I'm not sure what you mean. They're probably nothing, though.
