Post WISDOM TEETH GONE - EMPTY SPACE

Anyone who have had their wisdom teeth removed feel like something is missing ? Besides a bit of pain still( I had mine removed a week ago) it seems like the dentist should have replace them with false teeth. Anyone else either feels this way now or felt this way and then got used to it. It just feels like I need more teeth to chew my food.
Thanks.
