Post Effects of sour foods/candy on the gums...

I've been eating a lot of sour candy the past few days and my tongue and the roof of my mouth is very sensitive... could this sensitivity be due to the sour candy?

That's happened to me before. I love sour patch kids, and if I eat alot of them the roof of my mouth gets sore. I love sour wateremelon mmmm...

I used to live in Lebanon TN, near Reba Mckentire(sp?)
Now I reside in TX.
