 Equilibration
I am in the process of having some bridgework done by a Prosthodontist that I was referred to by my dentist. The Prosthodontist is recommending that I also have an Equilibration done, a $1600 procedure. I have not noticed a problem with my bite, however I do sometimes grind my teeth at night. Another dentist I found on the internet and e-mailed says he charges only $325 for an Equilibration. I don't understand how the can be such a cost difference for the same procedure. Has anyone had a similar situation. I would appreciate any thoughts on the subject.
