Post Root reabsorption

I was recently diagnosed with root reabsorption. I had no symptoms, no previous orthodontic work and no facial injuries. So far 3 dentists have told me little about the condition. During the extraction, bone was removed along with the tooth and I now face lengthy orthodontic treatment to move both jaw bone and other teeth. No one can tell me the cause or if this can re-occur. Anyone else been diagnosed with this and know where I can get more information?

My goodness, that is odd my friend.
I would get a second opinion from an unrelated dentist who has not talked with this one.

Roots can be left behind somethimes, but you didn't have an extraction did you. hmmm. I have had so much pain in my teeth, boy I would not do anything unless it was a problem somehow.

If your teeth are working for you, leave them alone for gawds sakes, just keep them clean. Am I out of line with this sentiment> i hope I am not causing you distress.
