Has anybody had this problem, and found a way to solve it. About 13 years ago my tongue developed a sensation like it got burned with a hot liquid. It lasted about 4 months and went away on its own. I did try 3 differenct doctors and no one found what caused the problem. The entire top of the tongue always hurt and anything to eat that was either cold or hot aggravated the condition. The condition has just returned and am hoping somebody has had success in getting it solved.

not sure, but there is something called burning tongue syndrome - don't know anything about it recurring. I suggest you seek an oral specialist.

I have researched a start for you here and hope this helps. I am sorry you are so uncomfortable.
