The only thing I can think of is calling the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry at 816/235-2111 and seeing if they can help you. I don't know how far that is for you, but it may be worth the savings. Dental schools are usually 1/3 to 1/2 off the cost of a regular dentist. My mom just got a flipper for $180, so presumably a dental school would charge $90-$120. Still not cheap, but better.
You could also call around and see if anyone will you set up credit. There are companies that provide lines of credit with a dentist, and you should be able to find some dentists who could help you with that.
Remember that this happens to people all the time... go to yor job interview and don't worry about it. Just tell them it just happened recently and you have not had a chance to fix it yet or something like that.
