Angry Dry Sockets? HELP!
I just had my wisdom teeth removed on Thursday and I am wondering if I have dry sockets. The pain is quite severe but not sure if it is dry sockets. How can I tell on my own (or with my wife's help). Thank you VERY much, this is worrying me.

Did you notice the blood clot being dislodged? Like you spit it out or anything? That's the only way for sure to know is if you knew the blood clot was dislodged. Also, dry socket pain clearly comes from the extraction site - is that what it is like? I would call and get it checked in the morning if the pain is severe from the extraction site. My oral surgeon packed it with oil of clove; what a relief that was. Not all dentists believe in that though.
