Unhappy Teeth Need Reshaping Help!

I posted a similar message to this before, but unfortunately had no replies and i'd like to have at least one bit of feedback on this. I got pretty big teeth with pretty big spaces in between, and i was wondering if there are any solutions to fix this problem. Can they possibly saw off part of the tooth or something, and is it possible to fill in the spaces other then having to get braces?

They can do something called enamel recontouring, which is shaving off bits of the tooth enamel to make teeth look completely uniform. Generally that's done for uneven edges on teeth. Or they could do veneers (composite or porcelain), but that is very expensive. It would look the best and last the longest (I plan on getting this done myself in a few years).

The best bet for you would probably be bonding, it's not going to kill your wallet and what it does is paint a coat of plastic tooth material on your teeth, and shape it to the way you would like them to look. Generally it's used to close gaps and fix chipped teeth.

The plastic also turns yellow - which is why porcelain is much more expensive. Be careful WHENEVER shaving down a tooth - there are important things beneath there

I would make certain you see a Cosmetic Dentist and ask for before and after pictures.

Happy Smiling
