Hi, I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled. I am now 5 day post-op, and I saw my dentist who found I have minor dry socket on both my bottom and upper left side sockets. He packed the sockets with some medicine that is suppose to coat the socket. He said that I probably will not have to repack it. He also said that the pain should pretty much subside within a few days. But the pain really isn't to much of a concern for me... just this really foul order. My first question is:

1) How long does it usually take for the bad oder from dry sockets to disapper?

2) What is the best way to cover this order without harming the socket?

3) How long does it usually take dry socket (if taken care of properly) to be eliminated.

PS> My girlfriend is flying in for a week on wensday... and its monday, and I don't want her to gag everytime she kisses me so any help regarding how to help the dry socket and remove oder would be awesome.
