Anyone have braces? - Dental Health Message Board

Hi

Does anyone here have braces if so how long have you had them on for and how do your teeth look?

I got my braces put on 9 months ago i was abit scared at first because i am 24 and thought i was to old for them but now that i have them im really happy with the result.

I'm hoping to get them of at the 12 month mark because they look wonderful.
I do feel alittle self concious when i talk to people but hey i'm happy so thats all that matter's. All up it's costing $5000 luckly they are letting me pay it off as it's alot of money.

You will look so pretty! Celebrate!! I know it's a pain right now, but 24 is such a nice age to be pretty-LOL! For the rest of your life...Try to see the big picture, and it will ALL be worth it! You are not old at all, and this will all be worth it!
I had friends in high school that had them, and they are still pretty to this day! (40)
Such nice, pretty, straight teeth- you will look like a movie star! (I am not exagerating AT ALL!)
Keep your eye on the prize! LOL!
It's worth it to be pretty the REST of your life!
