Unhappy 2 Worn Teeth (cant hardly eat)

At the moment ive got 2 slightly worn teeth, even though slightly it still prevents me eating normally

The worn teeth are on both sides the second one being worn due to the other being worn and all food being eaten on the other side

Now i seen my dentist twice because it really hurts too eat and im always hungry but dont want to eat anything, anyway my dentist said the worn area is small however the filling cant go in because its got nowhere to sit in because its so small

So ive complained that the fact im in pain cant eat and ive been referred to hospital which may take months to see someone

But in the mean time what can i do?

Re: 2 Worn Teeth (cant hardly eat)

If the pain is due to exposed dentin (i. e. the outer enamel layer is gone), try rubbing in sensodyne gel for a couple of weeks (don't rinse off). It only works as long as you're using it, so keep using if this helps with the problem.
Your dentist may also be able to offer in-office desensitizing treatments, but it sounds as if he's not being very helpful. I can't really understand why he can't apply some bonding over the affected area?
