9 Months of Oral Thrush + "Old Fashion Cure" - Dental Health Message Board

An update form my last two threads about oral trhush in here.

Ive had oral thush for 9 months.

I tried medicines, lots of yogart, changing my diet completly, getting rid of my nightime drymouth, leaving it completly alone, and im probably forgetting more.

None of it worked.
well.. one med. made it worse and the other did helped but it relasped as soon as i stopped.

So, I called my docter, who happens to kno some old fashioned remmedies. she said "use vinigar"

I swiched soem vinigar around in my mouth once, then again 2 days later, then looked in the mirror.. my tounge is Actually toung coloured again, no more whiteish green!

Apparently my oral thush Wouldnt have goen away on its own becuase i have unbalanced.. PH levels i think?

If anyone else has trouble with oral thush, i highly reccomend swishing a bit of vinigar every other day or so, its and acid and will kill bacteria easilly.

What type of vinegar did you use? white? or some other kind?

I bet vinegar is super bad for your teeth. Has it caused your teeth to be more sensitive.....I think it can eat enamel on your teeth.

Well, i only used about a tea spoon for a 1/2 minute every 2-3 days untill its gone. You can use a bigger amount of it & for longer if it doenst totally burn your mouth.
its not liek you have to stop bruhsing regulalrly either, so my teeth are unahrmed, i was worried about that at first though.

I used apple cidar vinigar, but sense all vinigar is acidic (as far as i know) it doesnt make a big difference as to what kind you use. My docter said to just use whatever kind i had around the house.
